Quietly There

For this assignment, I had a week to design the artwork and poster design for the jazz album: "Quietly There" by the Harry Allen & Jan Lungren Quartet. During the project, I was set to capture the feeling and atmosphere for the album with inspiration from the pictures that the music created in my mind.

All of the illustrations have been made by drawing on pictures with instruments on, in order to bring out a sense of calm, low-key-lightning and the feeling from classic jazz.
Through out my work I tried to capture the classic blue note feeling from the 1960s jazz coverdesign — but without using of the significant blue colour.
